- The ABC, Australia's national broadcaster has a wealth of
information on current affairs, arts, politics, spirituality etc. It
is a useful starting point for research on current issues. Some of
the many useful pages are listed here:

etc. on the topic of religion and spirituality.
- Background Briefing Radio National's agenda-setting current
affairs radio documentary program. Transcripts of past
programmes are available online.
- 4 Corners television current affairs program. Transcripts of

- Australia Theological Forum The Australian Theological Forum
Incorporated is an independent, ecumenical and interdisciplinary
body. The Forum seeks to enrich public discourse on contemporary
issues through the disciplines and wisdom of Christian theology.
- Australian Young Christian Workers This is the official
Australian Young Christian Workers movement website.
- Beware of the God a resource of diverse material documenting,
analysing, and musing upon the impacts and aspirations of religious
literalists in the public sphere.
- Crux a mailing list that provides a space for the discussion of
issues of sexuality, spirituality, faith and social justice. It has
particular interests in spirituality and the body, queer
perspectives on liberation theologies, and issues in finding
acceptance within the church and the wider community.
- Fairwear end the exploitation of workers who make clothing at
home in our Australian community.
- Multinational Monitor an online magazine with stories on
multinational corporations and their cronies in government.
- Wellspring Community an ecumenical Community of lay and ordained
men and women, who are seeking new ways of living the Gospel.
Established in 1992. It is inspired by the Iona Community, founded
in Scotland in 1938 by George MacLeod. the Iona Community is known
world-wide for its radical and prophetic Christianity, liturgical
renewal, and engagement with local and global issues
- World Association for Christian Communication an association of
individuals, publishing houses and churches that promotes
communication for social change. It believes that communication is a
basic human right that defines people's common humanity, strengthens
cultures, enables participation, creates community and challenges
tyranny and oppression.
